It's a good question and I'm not even sure I know the answer.

I tend to be very thorough with what I do and then how I report it. Shortening my writing just doesn't seem right to me, even texts, I'm terrible. I like to go into detail and as a result, I make things long winded; similar to to motivational letter post.

On paper I think it looks like I put a load of emphasis on each conversation, giving the details, however, to me it is just a successful conversation.

It could be from the times in school where I'd try to read into different things girls do and all the stuff that's dotted around the internet. Also my history, I've had it drummed into me that when I say something I back it up and then back that up with facts (the details).
Spit balling there but honest answer is I don't know and I've never given it any thought other than just now.
