I haven't really had negative responses when I've opened by talking about the weather, it was a surprise to me how people always seemed to have something to say about it.

Only yesterday I was getting off the bus with a girl, I didn't know but she works in the shop next door to where I work. I said "god it's cold, I should have brought my coat like you have". She replied and commented that it's supposed to snow and that really her coat is wafer thin so she has 2 jumpers on as well, then the conversation got going for about 15 minutes on various subjects like the chirpy bus driver, the xmas rush, buying gifts and stuff like that.

Must admit, I don't use that approach all the time, I mix approaches from sexual to innocent as well. I still don't feel that been sexual 100% of the approaches fits my mold. Need to work on that aswell.
