I don't know why I don't feel that I am entitled to go for what I want and not feel embarrassed or ashamed about it.
This probably goes to the root of all my problems. I seem to wait for permission to do things.
Of course women see this as a serious weakness, which it is.
Just asking them out probably dispels any doubts they have that you might have this character flaw.
