I've chatted to her once since we had the email thing. It was okay but kinda subdued. There's usually people in earshot which doesn't help.

Maybe the next work night out I'll get a chance to ask, plus the alcohol will soften the blow when she laughs in my face. And I can always say I can't remember as I was very very drunk.
