The only use I really see for unoriginal 'canned' material (stuff you didn't come up with yourself) is as an opener(which is only supposed to break the ice) or as a joke and of course who gives a shit if you say a joke someone's heard before, if your game is good the girl will laugh regardless. Wheras all my canned routines are conversations I've had before that went well, such as my dream routine and I'm pretty sure I won't get caught out from that.
