Phil. It's not a reference point or a citation. I'm merely providing the link to the definition of a term I'm using that you or others may not know. Would you prefer I point to a dictionary?

There is a difference between pointing to the meaning of something and pointing to something as a citation of fact. Notice that I never do that.

But, as you're so intent on dismissing definition to divert away from the actual points of the argument in order to obfuscate things:

Confirmation bias

confirmation bias - The Skeptic's Dictionary - Skepdic.com

definition of confirmation bias from Oxford Dictionaries Online

Confirmation Bias « You Are Not So Smart

That last one from youarenotsosmart explains things in a way that particularly applies to your argument here and the lack of the pursuit of fact in experience.
