Foot in the door effect -- ask for somthing small then follow it up with somthing bigger-- they are pressured to give you the bigger thing because they already did the small thing.
taken in a date perspective
ask them out for a drink and a giggle or a coffee --- seems like less pressure of an actualy date
If they mention its a date i just tell them its a drink etc
