Yes, that's correct, but you have to be wary of generalising without clearly stating that you're speaking generally. Generalisations are fine when they're acknowledged but so many of your statements lately have been generalisations without such acknowledgement. It leads people to think that you believe the absolute statements you're making and causes people to make errors of judgement. That's fine when you're not too bothered by it and it's out in the real world, or when it's amongst people that know you very well, but in writing and in environments full of people looking to others to learn it's not.

People usually assume the quality of someone's statement as truthful, an unqualified generalisation is misleading when you don't mean it literally and leads to all sorts of misunderstandings. As we've demonstrated!
