This is exactly what I do if its just a cinema ticket then I reduce it's value so much it loses any impact on her she might have, 'ah its nothing, a few pounds'
You watch a film, enjoy, but she feels a little cheated even though you paid for it, because you said it was nothing. She still had a good time.
A meal is a different story altegether, don't be a tight arse but don't be like the AFC and make her think your buying a free pass into her pants.
