Essentially you're putting a lead on your emotion and not letting it get into the bite/hump situation...

I think you also have a choice of emotions, recenlty I've chosen to feel disappointed with a people who mess me around, rather than being jealous or upset over somebody with free will who I can't control. Just flat out "I thought you were better than that"
