Emotions are triggerd by thoughts-- control your thoughts and you ahve controlled your emotions

rough lane brings you fear-- because your thoughts either on a conscious level or a subconscious level say you will get mugged--therfore producing a fear response-- control the thought and control the fear.
its that simple
