Also, re doing interesting stuff, make sure you do it to enjoy yourself and enhance your experience of life. There's no bigger turn off (for anyone) than someone who takes something up to impress other people. The key is to realise you can do anything you like, and that any barrier you perceive is imaginary.

As for becoming a funnier guy, just remember that it's perfectly fine to not be funny at all if it's not your thing. Guys get plenty of pussy without being funny. If you really want to improve your sense of humour, do as Legend said - don't take yourself too seriously. Learn to laugh at yourself. It won't happen overnight, but it's worth the effort. Being in lower 6th is a great opportunity to start an improv class too. Try it two lunchtimes a week in an unused classroom and get your mates along. News will get around that you're the cool mother fucker that set up a wicked improv class and you'll be fighting people off with a stick.
