it sounds to me like your going to get friend zoned... I dunno I personally wouldn't go on a day 2 unless I k-closed on the day one... unless she was being very playful when rejecting you. which is hard to get and something totally different. but I think you would recognise that because the whole point in it would be for you to recognise it...

don't worry about escalating too fast. if anything it sounds too slow... and don't be thinking about everything so much... I know its easy enough said but just let things go don't try and control the situation... there is nothing worse than an awkward hand on the leg or arm around someone... if it felt right just do it... don't think about it as an escalation or anything... just chill out about it...
