The first rule of friendship should always be honesty. My problem is my guy is not that good a friend any more so he may not respond well to confrontation. I'm gonna do it anyway and then if all else fails out amog him until he learns.

If your mate is a good friend he should understand that this is a problem for you and respect your space. If he doesn't he's not that good a friend. I'm not dissing him because the alcohol is obviously a contributory factor but if he's real a good friend he'll understand. Like someone else said earlier in the thread, teach him how to wing and it'll be good for both of you.
