Age differences are obviously a massive part of relationships between men and women however are they important? and how can you overcome the "age barrier" when chicks use it as an objection??

I experienced this a couple of nights ago. The setting was a sleazy cocktail bar in Central London. I had picked up this girl in a club a couple of weeks ago. I knew that she was young but I had no idea that she was wait for it... 18!!! This was not an issue for me however she hadnt realised that I was 29 years old when we first met. This was not down to subterfuge on my part but more that the subject had never come up!

Anyway 15 minutes into the Day 2 the age difference came up and altered the whole mood of the date. I managed to recover the mood slightly with lots of Kino / thumb war / dancing e.t.c however got the feeling that she was thinking about the 10 year gap quite a lot!! I guess that you could lie about your age but am not keen on this as an option.

What suggestions would guys have to this objection and how to overcome it?
