So, I've just woken up to good news on this front. She wants to hire me and start me with 10 hours this week. They have some big deliverables they think I can really help with. Then we can chat at the end of next week to see whether I love it or hate it.
Furthermore, should I love it (which let's be honest, I probably will), after the three months probation, she said we can then talk about bumping my pay up to the 15% increase on my current salary I asked for.
I've really enjoyed this process of being unhappy with my circumstances and taking immediate and relentless action towards changing them.
