I agree with you because having those techniques in which you are not compatible of makes you inconsistent and transparent. Being natural is good although you have to be confident and some pick up lines would do the trick.
It makes you consistent / spontaneous in many ways if you are just natural.

being a natural is just about feeling the vibe -calibrating if you want- and knowing when to apply certain canned stuff or not. in other words, naturals are more flexible since they can feel when it is appropriate to improvise or easier to use a routine. in a way, a natural is still being spontaneous when sometimes using canned stuff because it wasn't his plan in the first place.

What you have described isn't a natural just someone who knows when to apply certain techniques, basically someone with experience.
A natural is someone who just is themselves and doesn't rely on other peoples canned material.
