so for a nube I had the theory of not wot but how you say it demonstrated by myself first hand. I started doing direct openers "hey, i know this is random, but that outfit looks great on you" one time i did it where i unwittingly pointed at her cleavage as i delivered my opener and she ran like the wind!!!

bottom line is i they dont concentrating on the words, just a single finger aimed at her tits was enough to make her jump. Body language is far more important.

This openers is great, and will be field testing it further with an awareness of my body language!

Ah she loved it! - I believe she was so taken back by the complement that she became too shy to respond (well that's how I remember it!). Full points for following the approach through and testing your theory!

I'm with Edhyde here (even tho i wasn't there). Girls can freak out a bit. I've found not waiting (looking) for a reaction from her and moving the conversation on helps.

Totally true, a lot of the guys here seem to be big on inner game. The idea being that if you walk into a set 100% sure in the belief that you are king, it'll show through your body language and attitude.

True, I used to go into sets and say/do stupid things and see if I could recover. Best example I had to go up to a girl and say hi, then wait 10 seconds in silence, then carry on talking. Went quite well!
