Right let me set the scene for you guys.

I am in my university library and I see this girl I have seen around sitting working, now iv seen her loads before we usually end up in the same part of the library. So I decided today I was going to try something new so I wrote her a short note saying
"Iv seen you around, I think we should get to know each other" then left my number at the bottom

So she txts back the next day
"Hey sorry for the late reply!, Feel free to come over and chat next time you see me... I swear I Dont bite Becky"

At this point I wait till later to txt her. About 7 hours or so. My reply was pretty dull and unimaginative, but I didn't know how far I could push things with a girl iv never actually spoken to

I said "Well next time when you Dont look so busy, did the people next to you tell you who left the note?" Trying to see if she knows who I actually am.

And I got no reply!

So my next plan of action is next time I see her I am going to go up and say hi, and introduce myself as the guy who left her the note. I went in twice this week to study and also make contact but she wasn't around.

So my question to you guys is, if she dosent make an appearance next time I am in (Which is everyday usually) How best to approach the situation. Should I txt her again later next week, and how would would I do with the txt, seeing as I know nothing about her and we haven't actually talked yet

chances are tho she would happily get pretty heated, she seems feisty.

"i do bite... as you will soon find out x"

Well if I dont see her on Monday a call is the way to go. I would rather do it all face to face, I personally hate text flirting its crap.
I dont think following up at this point would be any good, Monday night or tuesday I recon, thats if I dont see her before hand

Or maybe call her tomorrow and ask if shes going to be around monday?

just forget about her. move on, and call her whenever you feel. just to talk

do not call with an intention of making a date or anythin.

just call & say.... Hey! have a fun convo, make light fun of her... have a normal convo for a bit then say. i must dash anyway but we should catch up soon.

Then u have broken the ice you can make a date whenever.

Stop looking for evidence that she likes you. If you like her then that is surely enough motivation for you to pursue her.


How can text flirting be 'crap'? Flirting is flirting, and it can surely only be interpreted as good.

I would ring her or wait til you see her. Either way, don't let her dominate your plans.

Yeah i'm planning on just waiting till I see her about next time. It wont be taking over my life anyway, im extremely busy so little time to anything but work these days.
