sons and lovers is a shit film but papilion is great film and also my all time favorite film cant believe i forgot this one!!.

Plain trains and automobiles.

Steve Martin and John Candy shine in this hilarious comedy about two men and their disaster filled race to get home for thanksgiving. The chemistry between Steve Martin's frustrated business man and Candy's annoying curtain ring salesman is electric and both undoubtably give one of the finest performances of their careers. The Scene where Candy and Martin come face to face with a juggernaught heading the wrong way down the highway is possibly one of the funniest comedy sequences of all time, and to top it all the film's conclusion is deeply moving and will pull on the heart strings of any audience. A great christmas comedy with a touching message. An absolutely marvellous film, buy it now!.

Some great pick up scenes that demonstrate certain pick up principals in action...

• Dirty Rotten Scoundrels – Martin and Caine vs everyone else throughout.
• Vicky Christina Barcelona – Javier Bardem vs Vicky and Chrisitina.
• Body Heat – William Hurt vs Kathleen Turner.
• Romancing the Stone Douglas vs Turner (again)

• Bill Murray in Lost in Translation vs Scarlett Johanson.
• Witches of Eastwick...Jack vs everyone/thing

Movies that speak to women and provide insight into Women’s pov on sexuality/relationships/seduction/coming of age:

Male characters that are seductive according to women I’ve asked:

• Tony Soprano – Sopranos
• Don Draper - Mad Men
• Dr Chris Troy – Nip Tuck
• Jackson Brodie – Case Histories
• Rick from Casablanca
