I'm not allowed jack daniels or Stella and ive just had a night - actually a day - drinking stella. I'm depressed/emotional and im getting in keyboard warrior mode. Any drugs that effect you guys the same way?

Alcohol is a depressant right? Well I'm feeling pretty depressed.

On a side note: I think i may like to give up booze. Following the whole, 'self-improvement movement', what is the point of alcohol? It slows you down, makes you 'not-you' and it's a depressant right? so it makes you flippin depressed!!

Should i just find happiness within myself rather that look for drugs to help me relax/feel good??

in my experience alcohol doesnt change your mood... it only enhances whatever you'd normally be. If you're sad, drinking will make you sadder. If you're happy, you'll become excited. If you're mad, you're going to be an angry, possibly violent drunk.

You be whatever you want to be. Personally, I love my alcohol, and don't see myself quitting for a long time, if ever.
