So, I'm wondering what any of you think about the group that has climbed the shard... seems to be blowing up all over the news in the UK. Just trying to get some perspective from people who aren't in the urban exploring community on this one.
I just read a 2 page spread from yesterdays Sun newspaper about these guys.
It sounds cool as fuck & the way the guy describes these adventures as exhilarating rather than frightening it makes me wanna do these things cos im an adrenaline junkie at heart (an adrenaline junkie who has yet to start an adrenaline fueled journey) i think its cos i dont take drugs anymore & i need a buzz of another kind to satisfy me like parachuting, bungee jumping.....or urban exploring.
Im intrigued & i think im gunna search & see if theres a community of urban explorers here in Ireland.
28DL is a decent place to start, just beware that there's A LOT of drama on that forum... but it's the place where most UK explorers start out. Good luck with getting into the hobby... I suggest starting rural and moving more into the city. It's a lot easier. CCTV doesn't make anything easy, and the tube is kinda sketchy right now. If you have any other questions don't be afraid to ask me, I know a decent amount of UK explorers, and am personal friends with the really big names (including the ones with all the publicity), and am willing to answer most things any way I can.
