anyone gone through a security screening process for a job not really concerned more interested why they need my personell email to carry out the check?

i dont think they do, it will be so they can send u info & request

i think they use your email to do a internet mining check (checks databases etc)

I've been CRB checked thrice, twice just as a basic check and once as a thorough check for working around vulnerable adults, not once did they request my personal email address.

The only reason I would assume they would want to check this also is if you are working in relation to national security then they would probably check your email address against known criminals/terrorists/organizations they have been monitoring...

thats what i'm guessing the 3rd party company would probably check it against known high risk groups like animal activists ,rival companys,etc.

i believe the security screening procees also includes a media check.
