In my opinion the greatest solo artist in history.
What a shame for him to die at such a young age, after suffering at the mercy of spiteful moneygrabbing scumbags. What a tragedy his later years were. I will always remember his better days and his timeless classic tunes will still always get busted when they come on the radio. This thread is NOT for jokes or negative comments. If you get the urge, start another thread.

until now, i am still mesmerized by his songs and performances. he is truly an icon. it's sad that he's gone.
