Southampton man... I dont class myself as much of a singer... I gotta work on it, maybe do some vocal coaching. I doubt I'll really persue it though, prefer production... ( and DJing like a nutcase )

Yea yea bro

pure moments - loving the piano - at 1 minute, try sidechaining that trippy synthy sound that comes in... other that that all I could say is maybe put some cymbals in and maybe a shaker... but your precussion is tight.

Family is also hot, I like the flow of the piano, maybe put a delay on that cool little lead synth.

All round your tracks are sounding great, but I think you should work on little things like your attack/ release.. also try putting a reverb on a snare/ clap and then automate the dry/wet, increase it over a few bars to create a build..
I think you should listen to booka shade, you'll like his style and get allota inspiration that will work with your music.

Also self taught... But I'm a freak. I'll spend like 3 hours reading about compression... I do alllot of experimenting, and critically analyzing songs, breaking them down and tryna re create them ( my dad is a professional muso so that also helps! )

the BEST resourse is youtube!!! Dude what are you using? Reason?
I can tell you how to sidechain in reason very easily.... *main sound* into a mclass compressor into your mixer. Then create a redrum and put a kick sample in channel 1 then click those little step sequencer things to make a 4/4 beat ( on 1, 5, 9, 13 )....
then take that kick sample ( channel 1 ) and plug it into the sidechain in on your mclass compressor. threshhold and ratio contol how much it wil compress!

Simple stuff! then play with attack and release!
