its infuriating....and relentless...Ive never met him, never will meet him, even if I did meet him Id think he was a dic, because i know his whole life story....but she doesnt shut up about the fucker all day...

have any of you guys had this and how did you combat it? Isnt there some NLP thing I could do by clicking my pen everytime she says "my boyfriend"

Haha! I had this throughout the final year of uni. My lab partner was always on about "my boyfriend" and "Lindsay's boyfriend" and "Cerys' boyfriend" and "my sister's boyfriend". It was like something out of Stepford Wives. I can honestly say I wanted to do a Patrick Bateman on her whenever she started.

I suppose the best way I found to keep calm was to laugh about it. Laugh about the futility of these peoples' little lives and the massive investment they've placed in a system that tells them they'll always have a "boyfriend" and all they need to do to be happy is believe in the system. We're operating on a higher plane bro.
