Default Fed up with hearing "Do they know its Christmas", here are the better songs of 84 - 21-12-2014, 04:29 PM

I suppose everyone is now totally fed up of hearing the song from Christmas 1984 called; "Do they know its Christmas". Back in 1984 there was a lot of good music about that has now long been forgotton. I can remember where I was in the winter of 1984/85. I was 18 and living in terrible rundown bed and breakfast in Stoke on Trent. 1984 was a gloomy year with problems like the awful miners strikes and one of the worst winters on record. But at least the music was good, here are some classics from that year:
Inxs - Original sin
Wham - Everything she wants
Killing Joke - Eighties
Duran Duran - Wild Boys
Spear of Destiny - Liberator
Leonard Cohen - Hallejulah
Spandau Ballet - Gold
Frankie goes to Hollywood - Two Tribes

By the way I forgot the song White lines don't do it by Grandmaster Flash and the furious five.

I wanted to show how good the music was back in 1984 and how cool my generation was. It was my generation who invented gangster rap for example and my generation who had the best coolest tunes around.
