My musical tastes are for most music from about 1968 up until about 1985. I think pop music went down hill after rap and techno music became popular in the late 1980s. Here is some classic 70s rock music:

By the way the strange thing is I did care much for music of that era at the time. I thought back then that most pop music was rubbish. It was only years later when I heard such tracks on the radio I realised just how good it was compared with later pop music. I think that awful rap and techno made me appreciate earlier pop music. Also in the mid to late 1980s I got into punk rock but don't think that much of punk rock these days so my tastes have changed a bit over the years.
