I've also noticed that like many things in life that ignoring a problem can sometimes lead to a positive. A lot of people don't agree with this and in some circumstances I agree, like a tumour for example. But I mean like an irritating person on the tram or a failed argument.

For a few years when I was younger in university, I used to have to deal with troublesome customers on the bar, and my oft resorted response was to completely ignore them. This had great effect, because you could still see them through your periphery vision, and watch them getting so maddeningly frustrated that they would eventually lose their rag and leave. This made my quite happy, and in the circumstances where I did eventually have to serve them, I made myself happy by realising the quite accurate fact that I was in fact serving them with poison, and they were paying for the privilege.

I'm now going to continue with a few verses from my childhood books, the Tempest.

Enter ALONSO, SEBASTIAN, ANTONIO, GONZALO, ADRIAN, FRANCISCO, and others
GONZALO
Beseech you, sir, be merry; you have cause,
So have we all, of joy; for our escape
Is much beyond our loss. Our hint of woe
Is common; every day some sailor's wife,
The masters of some merchant and the merchant
Have just our theme of woe; but for the miracle,
I mean our preservation, few in millions
Can speak like us: then wisely, good sir, weigh
Our sorrow with our comfort.
ALONSO
Prithee, peace.
SEBASTIAN
He receives comfort like cold porridge.
ANTONIO
The visitor will not give him o'er so.
SEBASTIAN
Look he's winding up the watch of his wit;
by and by it will strike.
GONZALO
Sir,--
SEBASTIAN
One: tell.
GONZALO
When every grief is entertain'd that's offer'd,
Comes to the entertainer--
SEBASTIAN
A dollar.
GONZALO
Dolour comes to him, indeed: you
have spoken truer than you purposed.
SEBASTIAN
You have taken it wiselier than I meant you should.
GONZALO
Therefore, my lord,--
ANTONIO
Fie, what a spendthrift is he of his tongue!
ALONSO
I prithee, spare.
GONZALO
Well, I have done: but yet,--
SEBASTIAN
He will be talking.
ANTONIO
Which, of he or Adrian, for a good
wager, first begins to crow?
SEBASTIAN
The old cock.
ANTONIO
The cockerel.
SEBASTIAN
Done. The wager?
ANTONIO
A laughter.
SEBASTIAN
A match!
ADRIAN
Though this island seem to be desert,--
SEBASTIAN
Ha, ha, ha! So, you're paid.
ADRIAN
Uninhabitable and almost inaccessible,--
SEBASTIAN
Yet,--
ADRIAN
Yet,--
ANTONIO
He could not miss't.
ADRIAN
It must needs be of subtle, tender and delicate
temperance.
ANTONIO
Temperance was a delicate wench.
SEBASTIAN
Ay, and a subtle; as he most learnedly delivered.
ADRIAN
The air breathes upon us here most sweetly.
SEBASTIAN
As if it had lungs and rotten ones.
ANTONIO
Or as 'twere perfumed by a fen.
GONZALO
Here is everything advantageous to life.
ANTONIO
True; save means to live.
SEBASTIAN
Of that there's none, or little.
GONZALO
How lush and lusty the grass looks! how green!
ANTONIO
The ground indeed is tawny.
SEBASTIAN
With an eye of green in't.
ANTONIO
He misses not much.
SEBASTIAN
No; he doth but mistake the truth totally.
GONZALO
But the rarity of it is,--which is indeed almost
beyond credit,--
SEBASTIAN
As many vouched rarities are.
GONZALO
That our garments, being, as they were, drenched in
the sea, hold notwithstanding their freshness and
glosses, being rather new-dyed than stained with
salt water.
ANTONIO
If but one of his pockets could speak, would it not
say he lies?
SEBASTIAN
Ay, or very falsely pocket up his report
GONZALO
Methinks our garments are now as fresh as when we
put them on first in Afric, at the marriage of
the king's fair daughter Claribel to the King of Tunis.
SEBASTIAN
'Twas a sweet marriage, and we prosper well in our return.
ADRIAN
Tunis was never graced before with such a paragon to
their queen.
GONZALO
Not since widow Dido's time.
ANTONIO
Widow! a pox o' that! How came that widow in?
widow Dido!
SEBASTIAN
What if he had said 'widower AEneas' too? Good Lord,
how you take it!
ADRIAN
'Widow Dido' said you? you make me study of that:
she was of Carthage, not of Tunis.
GONZALO
This Tunis, sir, was Carthage.
ADRIAN
Carthage?
GONZALO
I assure you, Carthage.
SEBASTIAN
His word is more than the miraculous harp; he hath
raised the wall and houses too.
ANTONIO
What impossible matter will he make easy next?
SEBASTIAN
I think he will carry this island home in his pocket
and give it his son for an apple.
ANTONIO
And, sowing the kernels of it in the sea, bring
forth more islands.
GONZALO
Ay.
ANTONIO
Why, in good time.
GONZALO
Sir, we were talking that our garments seem now
as fresh as when we were at Tunis at the marriage
of your daughter, who is now queen.
ANTONIO
And the rarest that e'er came there.
SEBASTIAN
Bate, I beseech you, widow Dido.
ANTONIO
O, widow Dido! ay, widow Dido.
GONZALO
Is not, sir, my doublet as fresh as the first day I
wore it? I mean, in a sort.
ANTONIO
That sort was well fished for.
GONZALO
When I wore it at your daughter's marriage?
ALONSO
You cram these words into mine ears against
The stomach of my sense. Would I had never
Married my daughter there! for, coming thence,
My son is lost and, in my rate, she too,
Who is so far from Italy removed
I ne'er again shall see her. O thou mine heir
Of Naples and of Milan, what strange fish
Hath made his meal on thee?
FRANCISCO
Sir, he may live:
I saw him beat the surges under him,
And ride upon their backs; he trod the water,
Whose enmity he flung aside, and breasted
The surge most swoln that met him; his bold head
'Bove the contentious waves he kept, and oar'd
Himself with his good arms in lusty stroke
To the shore, that o'er his wave-worn basis bow'd,
As stooping to relieve him: I not doubt
He came alive to land.
ALONSO
No, no, he's gone.
SEBASTIAN
Sir, you may thank yourself for this great loss,
That would not bless our Europe with your daughter,
But rather lose her to an African;
Where she at least is banish'd from your eye,
Who hath cause to wet the grief on't.
ALONSO
Prithee, peace.
SEBASTIAN
You were kneel'd to and importuned otherwise
By all of us, and the fair soul herself
Weigh'd between loathness and obedience, at
Which end o' the beam should bow. We have lost your
son,
I fear, for ever: Milan and Naples have
More widows in them of this business' making
Than we bring men to comfort them:
The fault's your own.
ALONSO
So is the dear'st o' the loss.
GONZALO
My lord Sebastian,
The truth you speak doth lack some gentleness
And time to speak it in: you rub the sore,
When you should bring the plaster.
SEBASTIAN
Very well.
ANTONIO
And most chirurgeonly.

My reply. This is the era of people loosing their houses because of debts and shit. If you have money, you can put a deposit down on a house (or similar). I refuse to believe that it is impossible because I know it is very possible.

Yes I do. It's easy for people with any form of social skills. Go into the jobcentre, speak to an advisor/get an appointment to do so. Find out what claims you're entitled to. Get your finger out of your arsehole and started applying. You apparently have money so you have a bank account; Payment method &I.D.#1. You have money so invest in a passport, provisional drivers licence or similar; Picture ID & I.D.#2. If you don't already know, find out your NI number (more than likely this is free).

And there you go. all you need to make a claim. Since you haven't got accommodation it would be against your rights to decline benefits for that reason. Plus you could use the address of the squat or whatever (ask permission).

A self centered baby-ish view which is completely untrue. Though they need to pay staff (like any other charity), they do help the homeless. I know this on a personal level as a friend of my dads was homeless by intent (his wife was murdered and he was given money compensation by the state but said it was dirty money and decided to life a life of bare essentials). You are not the only homeless person Stonecastle. You don't ask for help and I wouldn't be surprised if they came to you offering help and you turned them away in angry protest about 1 word or sentence they said.

Then follow steps/guidelines/advise offered to you by many accredited member's of this forum. If you don't break the plaster of your life mold that your trapped in then you won't break the chains under the surface.

It would not be long lasting happiness. The cycle will keep on repeating itself. i.e. false happiness... She wouldn't stay long because your whole life will be centered around her. Girls want to know how they fit into your life, they don't want to be the centre of it.

I had a girlfriend of 2 1/2 years who died in her friends car along with 1 of her other friends. That was second year of college. I was distraught and probably lower than you've ever been. Took me 4 months to talk to friends, 6 months to start acting decently and 8 months before I could talk to people especially girls without feeling a sense of betrayal.
I'm not sure but I don't think many members on here were privy to that information.

So seriously, don't fucking try to pitch a sorry fucking depressed attitude to me. It will not work. Pick your head up and get things back on track.

Finally got something right. Thin down, get into shape. Loose some of the facial fat and belly fat. Look at ways to improve your looks by hairstyle, exercise (yes I know you ride your bike loads but is it trimming you down? -see body-). Be proactive in your priorities. Getting a girl will come as a result of lifestyle change.

Your deluded if you think getting a woman would make you really happy. I'm single and I know for a fact if I got a woman it wouldn't make me amazingly happy.

As for not knowing what its like to be lonely or heart broken? Your talking to a 32 year old virgin who's never had a girlfriend, i know exactly what its like. By the way you say you don't tell woman your homless or unemployed. Thats great - what happens when she asks you what you do for a living or she wants to come back to your place?

Finally - jesus. Read your POF profile....do you really think thats the sort of profile woman are going to flock to? You could go pick a random picture of a hot muscular guy off of google images and replace it with your photo and it would make NO DIFFERENCE to your success. You'd be as well replacing your profile with a neon graphic which says "STAY AWAY - I'M NOT WORTH DATING". Seriously - sorry to sound harsh, but thats one of the worst profiles I've ever seen. Why did you not follow any of the advice folk gave you earlier on this forum? Please read it again and tell me its a great profile.

Sort your fucking shit out. I'm hardly one to speak, but women should not be your priority, no where near it.

And until you sort these other things out, you won't get success with women.

link thread to his specific profile help

The advise given was of the highest quality. But if he want's to roll with what he's got then that's fine with me. Nobody will catch him. PoF is a dating website, not depression 101.

Well I know for a fact that it would! You are not me so you do not know what I like and how much I like women etc! You do not know my past and about how depressed I was when I was a youngster at not being able to get a girlfriend and about how I used to beg certain girls at school to go out with me and tried really hard to persuade to go out with me. And how very upset I was when they refused. Bascially you are NOT me so don't tell me what would or would not make me happy!

Read this then about a homeless guy who got a woman! Peter's story | The Big Issue Foundation I have also got a friend who has been homeless for many years but managed to get a few women this guy! https://www.facebook.com/gary.birdsall?fref=ts I have tried to get him to post on this forum to tell everyone about his success with women but he refuses to do so, but if you message him, he will confirm he has been out with several women over the years. You say women should not be my priority, you don't know how extremely depressed it is making me by not having a woman! I feel so depressed about not having a woman that I feel like life is not worth living anymore!

Finally stop blaming me for being homeless! maybe 30 years ago or even 20 years ago it was easy to get rehoused but not now! There is a massive housing shortage thanks to the government allowing mass uncontrolled immigration. And property prices and rents are now sky high. To get rehoused these days you need to make contact with homeless outreach workers who visit people sleeping rough. I hardly ever see these people because I don't sleep rough in central London because it is too dangerous to sleep there. The system is really complicated these days. By the way three years ago I did stay at this place for the homeless: http://www.emmaus.org.uk/lambeth It was a hostel where you had to work collecting and selling second hand furniture and were given a small allowance of 35 pounds a week plus meals and your own room. I might try to get into another one of those places.
