Default Hello :) - 10-03-2011, 11:45 AM

Name: Inbetween3r
Age: 21
Location: Wales/'might' be england or scotland soon
Occupation: Student
PUA Experience: Read/watched stuff advised on here (juggler/RSD), and attemped to put it into practice lol

As you can probably guess from my name I am an inbetweener, me and my mates were sort of just there. Also Ive just coasted my way through life - Im the average C to B student or pretty good at club level rugby player. Im not to bothered by all that stuff, Im doing ok and getting by but there are areas Id like to improve in. First of all is my shape, Im a bit overweight and it makes me feel paranoid so step one is get lean. Step two is be more social, I simply dont go out enough, I enjoy player poker with the boys or chilling in the pub and rarely go clubbing (I know weird for a student). When I do go clubbing I love it but simply dont go often enough because I feel so insecure about my weight. The last step is being able to pull a lot more girls and talk to them in any situation. Once steps one and two are done I think three will begin to fall into place by itself but a lttlie pick up push wouldnt hurt .

Once I feel a bit more comfortable in myself I'll definately be up for hanging with a few guys from the forum.

Good luck on your path

Nah your right there mate, or all the booze haha.

Ive been reading on a few bodybuilding forums and from what Ive gathered it seems low carbs are the way to go about getting lean quick. This is my basic diet atm:
- 2 eggs and black coffee for breakfast
- Promax protein bar for mid morning
- Tuna, mayo, sweetcorn and onion mix and diet pills for lunch
- Chicken salad and diet pills for dinner
- 2 eggs before bed
(Im only using the diet pills as they keep off hunger pangs and give a bit of engery)

Ive dug out my mums treadmill and burning at least 600kcals on it everyday along with a basic weight training routine three times per week.

Im hoping within 8 weeks ill be in the low teens percentage bodyfat <15%.

Hope this is some help

good stuff. are you eating any bread with the 2 eggs? if u are subtitute white bread for brown and try to reduce your sugar intake (that shit is poison). you can get the sugar your body needs from natural sources, honey for example.

diet is one thing but working out is also important so glad ur doing that too.

Peace

I find it so hard to reduce carbs, but just banning fizzy pop and chocolate is a major key start lol.

I've been hitting the gym 3/4 times a week and doing intense weights (trying to work my entire body, doing squats etc), and then straight after weights, intense intervals on the cross trainer (treadmill kills my back and legs). By intense intervals I mean setting the difficulty to quite hard and blasting it out until I cant go anymore, so I slow down and get my breath back. I do this until I can't stand.

But after months of partial training (sometimes missing days), I have noticed that the key is diet. I could do all the exercise in the world, but if I keep drinking coca cola (I swear it is addicting and I keep falling back to drinking cans of it), and eating chocolate or cake or pizzas, then I'm just not guna shift the belly. I don't even drink very often, so it's just a bad diet.

Also, I don't like vegetables or nuts (only salty peanuts), and I don't like salad, so its kinda hard for me.

I'm thinking of just getting some nuts, fruit, eggs and protein powder and maybe vegetables? and blending it all in a morning or something.

But as for my lunch, I never feel like eating in the office at work. Really clueless on what I can eat in the day time thats low carbs, and easy to make and store until lunch? Maybe just some kind of protein shake?

My advise (not expert at all lol) would be try and substitute coke for coke zero, pretty similar tasting imo. With regard to cakes try Promax chocolate or chocolate orange bars they control my sweet tooth.

I always have tinned fish mix with light mayo and other bits and bobs for lunch, easy to make and tasty enough.

Y45 no, I'll only have wholemeal bread if I feel drained (normally the day after squats and deadlifts).

Ive just gotta keep telling myself its only 8 weeks, then I can start introducing carbs and playing around with cardio/diet just so I can maintain (even thought throughout summer I plan on bulking)
