I've been lurking around this board for a few days now, but still haven't introduced myself since I wanted to do it properly.
Since I start feeling the urge to take part to the discussions, here it comes !

I've been in London for more than a year now, and arrived while I was in a long distance LTR (she was still in Paris). Found out that she cheated on me in aug, and went through a 2 months one-itis then.

When I picked myself up, I decided that I would just enjoy every little things and bring the fun back; I then started going out again and making new friends. It felt like being alive again after this 2 years relationship. But I wanted more social interactions, and discovered the game with a french blog and board which is very thorough and well written (I can share the URL for those who are interested).

This was an epiphany... I still feel very AFC, but at least it feels that I can see now, I am more aware of IOIs and body langage. Have easier social interactions with random people now (even successfully opened and NC'd a HB in the sauna of my gym!) and feel a great deal better. i have been working on my inner game since then and still aiming to improve my well being.

To finish, and I know for some this post is already falling in the TL;DR category, all of this has completely reversed my philosophy about women; getting laid and picking up chicks is no more a goal to achieve, but a side effect of a personal well-being and good lifestyle. At least, it has become for me.

misc : I'm French, some may think we have a lovely accent, I think it's horrible. Do not hesitate to correct me if my English is not good I'm 25, and discovered puaforum through my former flatmate, who I went sarging with at Ministry of Sound 2 weeks ago. He is good at it, and taught me quite a few tips!

Your English is great! I am an English language teacher. You must be level C1, at least! The French accent is a bit gay though (just kidding) ;-) Sounds lovely on women.
