Default Hi everyone - 12-09-2010, 01:09 PM

Hi all, just a quick introduction from me

28 year old personal trainer and martial arts coach from London, looking to expand social circles.

Fairly new to the PUA circle, have read a fair amount of literature on the area recently, but have little 'field experience', so am keen to learn more.

Welcome dude.

I'm pretty new on here, but there seems to be a lot of experienced guys that can offer good advice.

What martial art do you train? I find that the instructors at my club get a lot of attention from the female students. You could use them to practice little things like looking for IOI's, yes ladders, body language (watching and doing your own) and in some instances eve a little kino etc.

I'm not suggesting destroying your job and pulling the students, but you have a willing audience where you don't have to cold open. Perfect for practicing soft skills, where most of us have to get good at opening before we can even start.

Hi johnnyboyleeds, thanks for the advice man. Believe it or not, I have actually been practicing those sorts of things with my clients and students wherever possible. i believe that my main sticking point is going to be opening, and dealing with approach anxiety.
my degree was in psychology and have a background in NLP as well so I have a basic grounding in body language, kino etc. Like you said though, there will always be a degree of hesitancy when it comes to my clients... I am SUPPOSED to remain professional... although breaking rules can be fun!
Btw, my background is in judo, bjj and some mma
