Hey guys,

Here to announce my arrival to this forum and to officially take pick-up to the next level.

In the last twelve months or so I was introduced to 'The Game' by Neil Strauss and since then I have watched both series of VH1's the PickUp Artist and read The Mystery Method. I have used some of the techniques on nights out and holidays with friends and have had some reasonable success, definitely better than my natural game (which wasn't hard).

Looking forward to sharing experiences and ideas here!

Yeah definitely worth a watch. At the very least its a good laugh! It gets better towards the end of the series when they start to become a bit more successful.

I know both the finalists of the first season turned out to be actors. And the old bloke was a semi successful comedian...

so take the rapid 'improvements' with a pinch of salt.

I read on wikipedia that it turns out a lot of the cast are involved in acting. Not surprising though, I know the same sort of thing goes on in shows like Big Brother, they go through modelling and acting agencies to find the people they want.

Whether the show was a 'scam' im not sure, they probably still did the tasks and learnt some game but there level of AFC was most likely exaggerated.
