After my exams in June my girlfriend of two years broke up with me. I was a depressed recluse for a few weeks, but my mates have helped me out a lot. I've come to terms with it now but I'm still hurting. I've got quite fat over the last few months aswell, so I've started training again and I aim to be in good shaped by the time I go back to uni.

I've only been with two girls in my life - my first girlfriend when I was 17 and my ex. I was never that good with girls, but one of my mates is into pick up, and he lent me 'The Game'. I really enjoyed the book (so funny) but I just couldn't see much of that stuff working tbh. I asked him which pick up arstist should I look into and he said just read free stuff and forums for now, then decide.

If anybody has any advice as to which pick up artist should look into then please let know. Thanks.

Hey man, welcome to the forums. My advice is not to follow one PUA's way of doing things. They all offer good and bad advice, and the best thing to do is take what you like from each one and mould your own game out of it.

Also, your mate was absolutely right - forums like this are excellent places to learn: free advice, no bullshit advertising and friendly, hands-on members.

Cheers mate. I've been browsing the forums and have looked into RSD stuff so I'm downloading The Blueprint Decoded now, looking forward to watching it. From what I've read it seems more natural and thats what I'm aiming for tbh.
