I have read a book and watched a few YouTube videos, I then found this site on Google, so thought I would join up and see if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Hello Top Hat,

I am not very confident about just walking up to a girl and starting a conversation, even when it's not that busy. I am not too sure what to say to start a conversation. Do you have any tips?

I read on here that someone practiced by walking up to a girl, giving her a compliment then leaving again, I may have to give that a try until I get used to approaching people.

I am confident when I am at work with approaching people and asking if they need help etc, but not out of work.

Most of us started from that way of thinking. Do it a few times and you'll feel unstoppable. Give it a go and post back.

The only tip which I'd say is good for new guys is; start walking and you won't stop.
