Default New to the Game and from Chesterfield - 22-12-2014, 09:40 PM

Hi all,

Just wanted to say hello. I'm new to the game, bit of a story to tell. I'm 39, in great shape as I do a lot of circuit, body pump and endurance events. Been married for 10 years and with the Mrs for 17 in total. Found out this year that she had been "getting close" to a guy from the gym, was never an affair (im sure of that) but was heading that way - more of an emotional affair with lots of text flirting. We did separate for a few weeks and during that time I realised how low my confidence was with women, when I had to start thinking about the possibility of going back into the dating game after so much time away from it. We are sorted again now, but I don't want to leave myself vulnerable to that type of situation again, as I'm very cautious that our relationship could break down at any point - I don't think it will though. The wife is very attractive and gets a lot of attention, she is a bit of an attention seeker, gives out the eyes a bit, like schatting to guys etc...I know this sounds like she's a bit of a slag, but she's really not - she just likes a bit of attention like all women. Me on the other hand, I have always been a bit of a lad, had a couple of adventures over the years - but always natural. I don't have a lot of confidence when it comes to approaching or making conversation.

I suppose I like the idea of the game just to raise my confidence levels and value, but I doubt I will take it any further than getting to the point where I know I could score - without actually doing anything - does that make sense?

Would be interested if anyone else has used the game for this, without actually taking it to the sex part. Any other married guys on here gaming? I don't inend on removing my wedding band so I expect it's going to be quite hard lol. Also I will just be doing the day game, in town during lunch break etc.....

Nice to meet you all

Hey Bargy, nice to see someone local on these forums. I spent a lot of my life living in Chez-Vegas, but after a stint in the army Im now in Sheffield after 2 years in Nottingham.

Anyway enough about me (everyones favourite topic is themselves after all), using game to raise confidence. Yeah I believe it will work. But Game is a wierd thing, if you get into it, you will change, you will become someone else. The person you become is what is the most important. But anyway, not going for sex, yeah it is possible, I used to know a couple of brothers who were both happily married yet they were also awesome at game, they really shattered my reality. But they didnt follow up for sex.

You just have to know your boundaries and stick to them.

But on a serious note, your wedding ring, it dosnt matter. If a woman is attracted to you, she will not care. In fact it will probably make you more attractive.

But just stay with day time interactions, I wouldnt advise Day 2's and I wouldnt advise Night Game in your situation as at the minute you sound like you want to stay loyal.

Good Luck to you.

By the way I recommend the Vintage Tea Room across from the Library, next to the Bus station as a day game location.

But again, a gypsy's warning, you will change, you will become someone else. Embrace it, love it and above all have fun.
