Hi guys, so I am completely new to this. My name is Ricky, I'm 28 and live in Manchester. If you read my back ground I think I should be a lot better at picking up women then I am. I served 5 years in the army and now I am a personal trainer and spend a lot of time working out. So I am really in shape. However I think I'm terrible at picking up girls. When it comes to approaching anyone I can't do it unless I've had a few drinks.

Hoping you guys can help me out and I could meet a few of you and you can show me how it's done. I've recently read the game, although that book doesn't seem to be very popular after some of the comments I have read about it.

Living in Manchester I know there are plenty of places to practice around here. Just having the confidence to do it! Need somebody to throw me in the deep end!

Welcome, prepare to constantly be belittled for your opinions and arguing with social retards. Manchester is full of PUAS from all places on the personality disorder spectrum. A good shout would be to list what you want from the forum. Do you want to be a real PUA or more like a bunch of mates who go out, have a laugh, get drunk and chat up girls. Proper 'PUAs' are over at the Manchesterlounge, they're all really active over there too. It's personal preference and worth exploring as it might be what you want.

Thanks for the invite Jaz I may very well take you up on that. As for being belittled I can take criticism. I'm quite interested to see what people's opinions are on how I do things and where I can improve and what I want is to be a real PUA I want to be able to approach every situation with strategy and get to the point where I have no fear of approaching women in any situation and will even look at the hardest situations and welcome to the challenge. I've decided this is going to be my new hobby. I even plan on some point in the future going out solo. I went out last night with a friend purely intending on picking up women. I didn't really plan on drinking much until somebody recognized me from the gym I worked at and filled my face with alcohol. I think it was quite a succesful night though but huge room for improvement. I'll post a field report and hopefully you guys can give me some good feedback.
