Evening all,

Hope you're well quick bit of info about me, I'm 27, living in Worcester and am fairly new to pickup. Over the last couple of weeks I've been on an information frenzy learning as much as possible (even cheekily smashing audiobooks at work) attempting to better myself at pickup (and all round in honesty)... the bit I'm getting stuck at is getting out there a doing it all! I mean I'm out most weekends but it seems like my mates aren't always on the same wavelength + things could be happening a lot faster with a wing/mentor! Anyways enough about me... look forward to chatting with you all

Hopefully you can find some like-minded people in your area soon to meet up with. In the meantime you could go solo. You'll probably realise, like most of us have, that all the information your taking on board doesn't help a lot. You might find yourself soon actually trying to forget everything you've learned. But that means you're progressing.

Thanks for the welcome and the reply. Read through the thread, it's the exact problem! My mates are great but just seem reluctant to try anything new.

Yeah it seems like there's so much info that when out it's virtually impossible to remember everything and actually looking back on the weekend when I found myself going Solo by chance, it seems like my basic communication went out the window as I was trying to remember what to do in each situation!
