IF you can pass these on, I'd appreciate it

No they don't. Just a question for the sake of acquiring new knowledge. Also it is a part of my other business. IE-to have specialized knowledge in specific spheres within the IT vertical.

By the way, question. How far is leeds from London?
HTML5/CSS3 isn't really that high a level, any college student could do it...

Backbone is for front end development, it allows you to link your data objects to a visual layout, its sort of a analogy of its name, its a backbone for you UI build.

Node uses asynchronous javascript from server HTTP requests and can also be used for many other server implementations, but chiefly its a back end server mechanism.

Angular seems really over the top in my opinion, if your designing responsive layouts then your should rely on progressive design techniques and keep to the use of CSS3 or eve CSS frameworks such as Less.js

HTML5 really is piss easy, its only the javascript implementation that takes some getting used to, that is ofcourse if your heading down the canvas route, or interactive data storage (drag and drop file uploading, local storage api etc.

Browser targetting really is a demographic deal, if your looking at targeting corporate markets then I'm afraid you really are going to have to optimise for IE6, which is why I would probably avoid HTML5/CSS3 since it has piss poor support. However if your building a back end system you can insist to your clients that they must use a certain level of browser for security concerns. But generally, the market share for IE has dropped considerably, and personally I don't even bother with it any more.

I've been doing web development since I was 14 and go to regular JS/jQuery conferences, it gets pretty tedious after a while, which is why I'm trying out Android at the moment

Android is cool. Do you find also a growing need for BB 10 developers, due to the resurgence of Blackberry with the BB 10 model? Isn't it true that you must have a solid Java base to program for both of those, as opposed to the IOS platform which you can employ c++, unity or objective C?

It's not had that big of an effect on the Blackberry market since the developers for it have already been around for sometime now, though my opinion of Blackberry is that its being slowly killed off.

And yes you do need a solid Java background, thankfully I do.

And yes IOS is objective C, however it is possible to port reusable code from IOS into Android through the use of NDK and JNI.

My other business is technology consulting and headhunting. I have been an IT vertical focused headhunter for the last 5 years in addition to running Maaximum Seduction and I love it. I love to learn new things about my vertical. The 4 spaces I headhunt for/consult for within the IT vertical are

1. Mobile both native core app development and web mobile dev
2. Enterprise Software Development using C++/Java. Not a big fan of C#/.NET as it is too costly to set up the Microsoft framework and I like open source
3. Front end development and back end, including devops
4. Game development-both online game development using AS3/FLex/Flash and casual/social gaming incorporating the "Free to play" model .

I have noticed that the world is shifting away fro Flex/Flash/AS3 and is now employing HTML 5/JAvascript for even high level animation/digital asset building. It is really amazing!

My last 6 hunts/placements were for web mobile developers. That area is smoking hot!

You use this video to promote your 'skills'. It says so under the video:

'This video demonstrates the logistics involved in picking up beautiful women that often trail you or are walking behind you in the Mall.

Featuring world renown PUA and Seduction master McMaax of Maaximum Seduction'

An astounding claim
