All the PUA terms are tied into a bunch of other things, so you can't really talk about everything thats wrong with them without going into what's wrong with lot of PUA ideas, methods, mindsets etc. and that's a huuuge topic.

I guess the big problem with them is that the concepts can just serve as excuses and stop you from actually doing stuff. e.g. 'I've not had enough IOIs' or 'I'm not doing to do well because I'm not in state yet' or 'I can't just get into her, I have to DHV her friends first'.

It's all way too complicated if you ask me. Getting with girls is simple. Stupid people do it all the time.

True. But alot of these 'issues' come about because of a vast disparity between a man's 'book smarts' and his 'street/social smarts'. 'Stupid' blokes seldom have that problem.

Here's what I think:

all the 'game' shit is for when you're new and not comfortable in your own skin. It's someone giving you a structure that says "THIS WORKS, JUST DO THIS", and the confidence comes from trusting this other guy, rather than you being yourself. As you slowly get better you realize that it's not what they suggest, it's really just you being satisfied with who you are, and your sexuality comes naturally.

Unfortunately, some guys never reach this breakthrough and are forever stuck in the different levels of 'game' (lines & routines, inner, outer, natural, dildo up your ass to loosen ya before a 'set', etc. etc.)

To be honest, I don't really have a problem with using PUA lingo. It's the equivalent of having a treehouse with a "no girls allowed" sign on the outside. A bit gay, but it makes it feel more like a boys' club and I get that; PUA is supposed to be a bloke thing and girls aren't supposed to "get it". The only term that grates on me is "sarging". For some reason that word makes my skin crawl. The term 'Sarging' makes your skin crawl (as it does mine) because...it sounds like some kind of strange horrific war time initiation ritual wherein senior members of an army platoon (who havn't seen women in months and have balls the size of watermelons) strip to their waists and form a circle around some blissfully ignorant, fresh faced private (who's just arrived on the frontline)...and proceed to break the poor bastard 'in' good and proper. While singing 'War! What is it good for?' at the top of their lungs...

Another word/idea that's simply got to go is the AMOG? What the fuck is that AMOG? Some end of level boss on a video game? When will the nerds ever learn.

There is no such thing as an AMOG. If he's a part of a group you are interacting with he is either the property of one of the women in group, (find out which one win her over and he'll be shaking your hand and telling you how cool you are in a bid to appease her like the good puppy he is) or he's some white knight 'friend' hanging off these bitches hoping to appease one of them long enough to get stinky fingers. Either way he's a weak man. If he's some charmless player from outside the group trying to get in, then just take control, lead the women and they'll dismiss and humilate and eject him for you.

He's a weak man. And most 'psychologically' weak men won't dare take a swing at you until a pretty women prompts them to do so. And even then (unless you are especially small and weedy and utterly clueless about even some basics of self defence) there is a pretty slim chance he'll actually know what he's doing enough to be able to do you any real physical harm.

And in the event that he's not some charmless player or psycholocially weak man at all, then he's your friend and brother and fellow man and not your fucking 'enemy'. So shake hands with him, smile and chill the fuck out. Stop seeing interactions with people in terms of goals and obstactles.
