Hey guys,

My college course started last week and unfortunately my class was only blessed with two girls (I thought I'd at least see a marked improvement on last year's total of four). So naturally, they kind of stuck together and kept to themselves at first.

After a couple of days I decided to talk to them and get to know them. When it comes to meeting new people in a school/college environment, I feel pretty comfortable as there are plenty of oppertunities to strike up conversations.

The initial conversation went quite well. Both girls were responding and chatting away, one of the girls in particular (HB8, who every guy on the course thinks is smokin') was laughing at pretty much everything I was saying. I do think I was being quite natural, in the sense that even though she was laughing a lot, it don't think it came off that I was "trying to hard".

Since then we talk in college quite a lot, I make her laugh all the time and she has shown some good signs e.g. she touches my arm someties during conversation, sometimes play punches me, tries to keep the conversation going if I stop talking, we've said some things at the same time, played little games to decide on things etc...

But what really got me off guard was today when my friend and I were talking to the girls, she waited till he went away and then asked if I wanted to go out with them tonight to a night club (I unfortunatly had to decline).

So this all seems good? here's my problem. I've found that throughout school etc, girls have always liked me, but not in the sense that they are attracted to me, they like me because I'm quite good fun to be around and I make a good "funny friend" for them. Also, these girls are normally out of my league in the looks department (while don't think I'm ugly, I'm not exactly attractive either) this HB8 is definatley.

So I don't know wether this girl is interested in me or is just wanting to be a friend, also, I don't want to read too much into it and make an arse of myself and have to deal with her for two years if she isn't interested.

What do you guys think? Any advice would be great. Sorry for the long post.

Pat yourself on the back for getting her attention and even asking you out. For her, you stood out amongst the guys in your class. Hence, she seems to like hanging out with you. Fab!!

Now, move in fast or you entering into the friend zone, which I have fallen into many a time. I suggest you ask her out - do something different, something you like doing and you think she might enjoy too. Something she will remember for a long time. And then take it from there...!

K speaks the truth don't bother trying to figure out if she likes you assume it.
If she does reject your advances (but she won't, just a vague outside chance) then be cool about it and carry on as if nothing happened then it won't be weird between you and also if you stay friends she might have some hot mates too

You seem to have a good friendly relationship with her but as K and Legend have pointed out you need to show her you are interested by telling her she is sexy / hot / cute (as K said) and touch her, don't look at your hand/arm when you do it, do it like it's a natural thing for you to do.

Kowalski spoke the fuckin Gospel there... Haven't got much more to add to be honest as he did hit that nail on the head! All I will say is act on it soon... Don't wait around for weeks and weeks before you go for it man, just do that shit!
