Right guys….. Natural Game

At the moment im going through a bit of a shitty time I cant get my head straight, the reason for this is that I consider myself as a natural but I used to use stuff like the mystery method. Kowaski persuaded me to move down the natural route but I cant work out what I am. I prefer natural and im 90% sure that I am a natural but most sets that im in im always drunk and cant remember what the hell I said or did.

I just want to find out the following from as many of you as I can…..

What does natural mean to you?

Do you consider natural the route to take?

Advantages and disadvantages?

What the stages of being a natural are?

And finally the type of game you use?

I don’t know what it is at the moment but when im sarging im fine its just when I start thinking about how I actually game my head gets muddled up.

Mate I'd have a butchers at Juggler's book, I've been reading it the last week or so and it's really good for the natural approach. He's all about spur of the moment conversation, no canned openers or routines. Instead he mentions these wicked conversational techniques that make a girl feel more comfortable with the phase shifts so when it comes to closing she's less likely to bail. I can send you a PDF of it if you like, it's worth a read.

For me, I found that before I even got into this PUA stuff I was kind of doing the natural way, but because I didn't even know I was doing it it never worked. Things like the talking strongly and with belief about completely random stuff, and making statements and open ended questions so it makes her feel like she's known you for ages. That said though, in retrospect, this stuff is only probably any good for building comfort after building attraction, so I'd always use the Mystery Method for openers etc.

Anyway that's my two cents,

In my limited time out with you Jynxy I'd see your overall attitude as natural. I guess when it comes to drinking a lot of booze to acheive your ambitions you are relying on a helping hand, as most of us do. This is fine I feel as it let's our minds relax more and we can then forget about consequences of an approach or being direct. I guess to gauge your game more, less booze may be required so you can remember, although when in 'state' and living for the moment it can be hard to remember half the things one says or does!

As for your questions:

- Do you consider natural the route to take? Most definately. Learning how to harness my best self and show the girls the real unashamed me (my desires and passions) has to be the healthiest route possible. No smokescreens and no tricks.

- Advantages and disadvantages? The term natural is quite broad, but I guess the advantages are clear in that you are learning how to be a hit with the ladies by yourself and not relying on other people's routines.

- What the stages of being a natural are? Not read enough to know this to be frank. Just flowing freely as far as I can see.

- And finally the type of game you use? A combo of many types that I have read and learnt. I strive to be natural though. I can't stand using lines created by others or thinking about body language or how I'm standing, etc. I want to be myself but in the most positive way possible. I should be relaxed mentally and be one cool cat.

I'm recently coming to the conclusion that it's all about cracking inner game so that there is no need for facades, which is what canned lines and routines are.

Someone who doesn't use canned material like openers and develops their own style which suits themselves and their character. Living in the moment and trying to be the best you, you can be

Yes, because then you can react to any situation, be yourself, not worry about steps to take or what comes next in the conversation. In other words you won't have to think too much it will just come naturally.

Advantages and disadvantages?

When I've seen some people use openers girls have known they were being picked up or thought it was a bit weird to ask that kind of question.
Being a natural means you don't have to use other peoples techniques but it means you don't have the support of other peoples methods to fall back on. It is all about the inner you and whether you are confident with yourself which can be pretty daunting when you walk up to a girl with no idea what you are going to say.

What the stages of being a natural are?

I'm not quite sure because I think it's different to using material as the progress is different for each person and it is more of a free form method so it varies.

And finally the type of game you use?

Natural but I keep in mind some other stuff and try to adapt it to suit me.

I'm always confuesed to know what a natural is?

have you got to know the 'rules of the game' before you can apply them!

when I 1st learned guitar my teacher would be like 1st know the rules and then apply them. rather than guessing! it took me years to figure what that meant.

My interpretations of your questions .. and as we all know, my and everyone's view of the world is different :-).

What does natural mean to you? a Natural is the guy that has no concept of game, no concept of the rules and everything he does, he has just adapted and learned since he was a small boy. Natural game is taking what the Natural guy does and apply that.

Do you consider natural the route to take? No.. I am not a natural.. I missed all the stuff that a proper natural developed while at school as i was the Geeky kid. I'm very logical and process minded so i'm better off taking chunks of what works (be it MM, Style, David D) and applying those bits as well as expanding and becoming the best Retro i can be. Also the "hey i'm tim, i thought you were cute i just had to meet you", i still think you have more of an advantage if you are reasonably good looking, where as micro managing the situation you have more of a chance of flipping the attraction switch.

What the stages of being a natural are? Not sure.. Surly being "natural" would not have stages as such, as if it did have a stage then its no long natural as your working to a process which is back to MM again. I think being natural is more the attitude, so a natural i watch at work (no idea of PUA at all), is cheeky when he's talking to women, not afraid of stating the intent that he wants her, very self confident.. the other interesting trait they seem to have is they are aware of female body language at a subconscious level (back to learning when they were young and growing up at school) and can spot if someone is interested in them before the initial approach. I am particularly interest in the latter myself and have read a great book call 'Under cover sex secrets' which is all about women's body language when trying to attract a mate and I'm in the middle of watching a 4 dvd set of David D's about body language.

And finally the type of game you use? A bit of everything. I have my magic tricks, Styles ring finger routine, the cube, mix in a bit of cocky funny, drop in a bit of juggler SOI, and a bit of natural "hey lets Salsa", and thats what i'm running with. But i dont know what really works yet so lets nick the phrase out of the move hitch "you is a very fluid concept right now", meaning me :-)


I personally don't think you should worry Jynx.. you've got a lot of the quality's of a natural already (being fearless, confident can add that cheekyness into a conversation) but with the added bonus of knowing about game.

Deffo when I first saw you on a night out I was blown away by how fearless you were.

I don't think you should try to over analyse, it might end up hurting what you do because you might start thinking and getting inside your head too much instead of living in the now

do you no think that if you missed out on stuff you would have so much fun building and learning the natural skills?

It's fun and i do live for the weekend now as i get a real rush out of the approach and to see what reaction i get.. but at the end of the day, when all i want is house, wife and a family, that's a price worth paying.
