Im relatively new to all of this, i have read all the basics ( The game, Art of seductuion etc..) plus ive browsed a few forums and understand the basics etc, im off to a music festival in a month and would love some good openers and routine ideas based around music,
Does anyone has any good music based ideas?

You could always make use of all the possible situational openers and stuff. There will be plenty of random things there you can talk about.

I've not tried picking up at a music festival, the only times I've been to one I've got far too wasted.

Must be packed with unwashed indie hippy birds.

Tbh dude I think you should be all good, I mean you can't really talk while your listening to a band and when its quiet enough to talk you will already have a talking point with all the girls around you(if you're listening to the same band then your music taste has to be pretty similar - building good common ground). Which festival are you going to?

I'm going to Reading next month. Festivals are great places to meet new people, everyones in high spirits and having a good time and common ground is already established if you are there to see similar bands. Its very easy to open people at these events people tend to be very friendly. Best times to do this are when killing the time between acts, at the bars/food stalls and in the camp site after the events close for the day, there's always some after (tent) party going on!

The only problems you'll have is with jail bait.

Lol, ironically I may be going to sonisphere this weekend... my sister won tickets but I cant get there, if I do I will see if I can field test some festival shit

tigerflame my advice is just approach and lots of it your at a music festival where there are lots of people who are in a much better more social state than usual and you will most probably never see them again.

So approach as much as possible try openers or be natural and say things like hi i'm tigerflame or I thought you looked cute I had to meet you or I choose you. Just try anything use it as an experiment people are going to be happier and more responsive.
Try and think of openers while you are there, usually I think of the perfect opener after my chance has gone but at a music festival you can probably use that opener again quite easily.

Just open alot then you will get in the flow, it might feel impossible at the time but keep forcing yourself to no matter what the outcome for about 20 minutes and then you will be in full flow, open the first set you see even if it's guys just to get you in that talkative state instead of in your head wondering what you should say.
