Default Moving past an interview - 20-07-2011, 02:19 PM

Hey guys.. quick update..

I broke things off with the girl I was seeing, was honest and nice about it . Things went pretty good. We still chat a couple times a week just seeing how the week is going.. she is a pretty stand up chick.

I spoke to my ex GF for the first time in close to 3 years... wow.. I had to cut the convo short, it was scary how within 2 minutes of chatting, we were both laughing and eye fucking the shit outta each other .. All of a sudden these old 'feelings' snuck up and I bounced. I was on my way out the door as we ran into each other ,so it wasnt award.. she wants to grab some beers and catch up.. im really worried on letting her back into my life.. I can say im still head over heals about this girl, but she has already fucked me around before , im just trying to stay strong.

Anyway, on to why im here.

I've heard mention of not turning your date into an interview 'where you from' what school, what sports etc... I'm pretty good at this part, im a good speaker and really good listener.

I want to work on creating a better attraction through flirting , humor, and other means. I find one on one I'm pretty good with a girl, but once i get in a group I tend to lack game. I can even see it to, i start asking the boring same questions and i can insta see the girl starting to lose interest , anyone else run into this?

I want to be more fun in the social setting I guess? I'm a fun guy per-se, extremely active, into extreme sports (wakeboarding, mountain climbing, kitesurfing) but suck at the group social setting. (Mainly out drinking beers)

Any tips on this u guys?

Yeah I used to be a fairly strong advocator of "don't ask questions", but to do so would be to take the concept too literally. I think it is better not to rely on run-of-the-mill questions to keep a conversation going. Rather, ask questions that you want to ask her. I like to ask a girl if she comes from a good background, or if she's the marrying type. I don't want to be dating a girl if she turns out to be a smackhead or is a princess who's planned her perfect wedding.

It's just advice, fellas. Do whatever the FUCK you wanna do
