Default Sarging at the Gym - 16-06-2011, 10:12 PM

My gym is full of HB's aplenty. Does anyone have any gym sarging tips? Anyone got any gym sarging stories?

Be careful.

People in the gym are hot, sweaty and can be unresponsive because they don't feel particularly sexy when they're sweaty and smelly. Many people also use the gym as an escape into their own little private world. Headphones go in, world switches off.

Make good judgement calls on whether or not you're intruding on what someone would prefer to be uninterrupted personal time. Careful of being that annoying guy.

If however it's not going to bother someone then it's no different to any other daytime scenario.

Just remember that it's a gym, you're going to be seeing these people again, that or you're going to have to change your gym schedule.

Don't sarge in the gym honestly, don't do it. I know there is plenty of books dvd tell to you but don't listen to this crap. People are there for a reason and if like me membership is not cheap you don't go to socialise. Any images you may have of completing the seduction in the sauna are pure fantasy. Sure nothing beats the sight of a hot sweaty girl, but she wants to lose a few pounds or work on that flat stomach let her get on with it.

Be friendly and confident, but don't hit on the girls, hit on the receptionist and girls sat down in the cafe area.


Don’t think about rejection shouldn’t even enter your head, don’t think about it, just do it, no hesitations. Talk to her.

It’s the only way to get good

Do not sarge at the gym

dont be that annoying twat interrupting somones workout to talk shit at them, or the annoying twat that appears near every weight bench you are on or cardio machine you are on -- leave them the fuck alone

If you happen to be on a machine next to somone, then sure if you both catch eye constact flash a smile at them or say hello if youve seen them a few times and they recognise your face. leave it at that tho.
if you then want to push that forward wait until you are in the drinks lounge away from the gym bit and strike up a non pushy conversation.

When i used to train at gyms (before i had my own) i was really antisocial - id rather tear your head off than talk to you--i was proper in the zone

as said, it is possible to build something over time with familiarity and quick natural interactions, but agree totally, its inappropriat to walk up to some girl on the thigh master and start chatting away trying to keep her attention. if you do anythin direct you have to come across as the friendliest most chill guy so that she wont feel awkward next time she's in the gym.

I'm going to disagree with everything above. DO sarge at the gym, but don't approach randoms working out.

Join a spinning class and strike up conversation afterwards as everyone is leaving. This is when everyone has a chat and they are totally receptive. Keep attending the same class and get familiar. You also have easy situational stuff to talk about like "that workout killed me today" etc.

I would imagine the same would apply to other classes like pilates etc.
