well guys been a long time since i been on this, kinda took a step away from pu, had so much focus on uni work and my fights that i jus didnt have enough time to focus on girls and really be that social.. Determined now to make up for that and get back into meeting girls, would love to get myself a girlfriend... anyways i never really liked the thought of adding random girls on facebook and chatting to them from there, it was like an easy way out, no need to approach etc...i dont make things easy on myself its one of my annoying personaliy traits it seems... lol anyway i realise this is bullshit after hearing about a friend of mine...apparently he got fraped and his mates added this promotion girl as a joke, long story short he is now banging her and i thought why the fuk am i not taking the opportunity of using fb, theres so many girls i see that i realyl like the look of but i think it looks maybe a bit desperate or whatever and maybe worry about how it looks if my mutual friends find out im picking up girls using fb..
but fuk that shit... so i added this hottie and im just trying to decide on whether i should go for the whole i was fraped angle..jus to cover my back and not have to deal with any shit from mates... or jus be totally direct..? anyone got any negative feedback from goin direct i.e. i jus saw ur pic on suggested friends and thought u looked like a lot of fun thought i would be spontaneous and add u, hope u dont mind.

If you approached enough girls on facebook chances are you would get a response eventually so yeah why not. However, what happened to your friend is an anomaly in my opinion so dont expect too much. Maybe you will pull some model like your friend, or maybe you will end up going on a date with someone who looks nothing like that profile picture where they looked hot!

I wouldn't make it your sole source for meeting women, I would rather go out and approach in the real world.

Not only is it pretty desperate, its also rarely going to work and in the end you'll find out it was just a waste of time
Ask most girls 'would you go out with some random stranger that added you on facebook?' and the majority would say No!
I would say get out there and meet people in person
Not only does it hold a lot more dignity, you'll find it a lot more fun than sitting at your computer surfing the web for women

It just seems really superficial saying it was because of her picture and she will know that, and saying that you hope she doesn't mind almost puts her on a pedestal.

You have to show that you're not just a meat lecher and talk about a hobby (Hey noticed you like paintballing?! That's crazy, when I played last it was just 50 guys and a lot of bruises!) or something interesting that she is showing about her personality / individuality to bypass her boring random adds and spark some interest. Don't ask if it was okay, that puts her in control of the situation 'yes I suppose this boy can be my 'friend'' is what she will be thinking. You have to just do it and do it because you can because you are a decisive man! Tell them that WHEN they check your profile, they CAN add you. Give them permission, you're in control

There's always time when we're at home and we can't be out talking to new people, and in these situations, why not use facebook / pof.. If you got nothing better to do!
