So met this girl in a club last Friday. Kissed her, danced, the usual - she showed a lot of interest. I told her I'm leaving with friends. Gave me her number said get in touch. Moving from city i was visiting to city I live in.
Didn't get in touch with her til Tuesday. Dropped a cheeky message...

HB8: Packing up as right now! Who is this?x
Me: Need a hand? Its paul101.
HB8: Oh hey mr cool. [spoke about my job]. Hows u?x
Me: Good thanks. Must be busy from packing? Looking forward to living in a proper city?
...no reply.

Was thinking of leaving it til the weekend and then starting something off again. Tell her I want to meet up or something.

Paul - My suggestion for future reference is call the girls who you get numbers for either before or after they text you.

Imo the text game is iffy theres too much of this 'ok he text me ill wait 5 hours so it looks like im busy and then ill text back'... or 'no i didn't mean it like that' or 'nope, didnt get message from you what do you mean?' or the dreaded 'whos this' when you watched them put your name in the phone (sometimes happens).

At least if you have them on the end of the phone you can usually tell if theyre talking BS or if they are like 'oh its HIM' or 'oh it's him' in a cool way.

In this case I'd let it go, get out find another 5 and I'm sure she won't seem that important :P

I was reading earlier...You want your first text to relate to something funny you did with her when you met her. This should help remind her of that feeling you both had. Get her talking first before asking her something serious. Use open questions such as "Why" "When" "How" try to avoid questions that require a one word anwer either yes or no, it gives an easy way out. Be a bit cheeky. Girls love forward guys.
