There is story about Bruce Lee which sets the stage for this post. A master martial artist asked Bruce to teach him everything Bruce knew about martial arts. Bruce held up two cups, both filled with liquid. “The first cup,” said Bruce, “represents all of your knowledge about martial arts. The second cup represents all of my knowledge about martial arts. If you want to fill your cup with my knowledge, you must first empty your cup of your knowledge.”

I've spent a lot of time with people in the game over the last few months and it’s been interesting seeing the progression of people as well as noticing my own inner change.

So for those out there that need to progress, If your at the point in your life where you feel the need to change. Or if you know desperately what is you want but it is still beyond your reach. You’re searching for that part of your game that’s been holding you back from getting to be where you want to be.

Well sorry to say, the only thing holding you back is you.

There may be a part of you that doesn’t want things to change, that’s quite happy being kept alive by your current situation.

If you want to achieve your dreams then that part must die. You as you know it must die.

If you’re not happy with the situation your in right know, then the person who lives there must die. Its time to shed your old personality. Its time to stop doing the things you keep doing time and time again that bring you no closer to what you want to become.

Its time to be reborn.

You know what it is you want, you have to act the way in which you want to be. Reinvent your self, throw off the old styles and the old way of thinking. Get rid of how you normally do things and your sense of self.

Kill the ego inside yourself and act like the man you are meant to be.

The greatest fear we face is that of annihilation, the things we know and have learned are the only self we have. To stop doing them means the annihilation of self. The reason most people are depressed is because they do not what will make them happy but what they consider good. That sense of good has nothing to do with dreams or with freedom. It’s only what we have been taught or have learned through bad experiences. It binds us in bondage of walls we cannot see, only to experience fear when we touch its boundaries.

Consider this an Archetype, Jesus died was reborn, shit even Start Wars and the Matrix they had their rebirth stories. There comes a time when we all have to take our lives and ourselves by the balls and change.

Stop being afraid of death, be born a new man now.
