I've now been properly into the online PUA scene for 4 weeks. In that time I've read the Mystery Method, some NLP stuff and listen to The Game audio book along with reads alot of the posts on this forum. My question is; should I now be thinking about a PUA Bootcamp course at £850? I have the £850 but I'm not loaded so its a hit on the wallet if I take it!

BACKGROUND

My background to all this is I'm not some clueless geek with women. I've always had a good track record with the girls and was really good in my uni days. Since then I set up a business and have focused on this rather than girls. The lays I have had have been through work (we run conferences so lots of opportunity!) but I've worked out its not smart to be fucking employees or customers so have cut that out. Which has got me back into the bar and club scene.

Honestly I find some of the PUA stuff a little creepy; the NLP side seems to basically involve saying and doing things which just aren't natural. There's the ethics side of lying to her but more than anything I feel like a dick saying it. I had a weekend trying NLP approaches and really hated it.

Much prefer the Natural Game approach which, as I see it, uses the strucutre of the Mystery Method but you basically keep your personailty? This seems to work much better. I may not be saying the smartest thing, my most fucked up line to date is:

Me: "Hi, hows your night going?"
Her: "Why are you talking to me?"
Me: "Ummm...I like chubby chicks!"

But at least I know where I'm going with it. She actually lauighed at the chubby chick line. This has helped loads with giving a structure to work to otherwise as a newbie I just get lost.

So I've been practicing this stuff in bars and clubs with some success. A few kiss closes and then endless chasing on the phone and texts...all good fun! Now I'm trying to work out how to get better.

APPROACH ANXIETY

My main problem is anxiety in making the approaches. I'm fine when I get in there but I take way too long to do anything - I'm more on the 15 minute rule than the 3 second rule. This is something I need to sort out. So I'm thinking the bootcamp may be a way to just cram in loads of approaches in an environment where I have to do it?

What are your thoughts?

Or should I save my cash and just keep on flying solo?

NLP feels fucked up because it is fucked up, and there's no evidence to suggest it even works. Much of PUA knowledge feels like it was inspired by the prince. I get the impression that Ross Jeffries was looking for a form of psychological rohypnol in order to avoid the pesky legal issues. Anyone who thinks that hypnotising people into liking you is remotely sane needs to book themself a plane ticket to Dignitas.

In all honesty Samster, I don't see why you think you need to fork out almost a grand when you acknowledge that you're already improving with women. At the most, all you'd get from it would be enforced approaches. Why not keep on as you're doing? Approach and read, don't lighten your wallet.

I would second that. Sounds like your alright with women, just need some fine tuning. I would not fork out £850 for a boot camp.

You've devoted time to set up your business. I assume this is running well or probably a lot better than when you first started after all the lessons you've learnt from mistakes etc. Do the same with girls for a bit. Devote some time to getting better with them and make them the primary focus of your life for a while (not the only focus - that can mess people up and in my view is a bit lame). If need be meet up with some wings from here.

NLP seems creepy to me too.

AA will always be there, but has ups and downs. The advice is simple really, just go for it and see what happens. Why do you need to pay someone to tell you that - you already know it. Again meeting like minded wings can help with AA.

I don't think nlp is creepy I just think Ross jefries is a bit creepy.

It does work I only use it to give girls orgasms and that's about it cos it's too much effort to think up patterns when I'm supposed to be out enjoying myself.

Spending £850 on a PUA Bootcamp won't cure your AA, don't waste your money. Approaching women cures your AA although it never really goes unless you do some pretty deep inner game shit on yourself.

I find NLP works fine for putting ideas in girls heads as well suggestion and repainting her imagination that I'm her boyfriend not some guy thats going to dump her after she's opened her legs.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO do not waste your money dude. It may be helpful to someone with poor social skills, but seems like you are shit hot on that scene!

I actually meant I find NLP to pick up girls creepy aka Ross Jeffries. I used to perform a lot in front of large crowds and used to use an NLP concept called anchoring for that. Seemed to work, but part of me is thinking placebo effect!

How do you use NLP to give an orgasm?! I usually just make them feel relaxed/ good about themselves and then work the clit/G spot like a trooper. Seems to work....

Thanks for the comments and advice; points are taken onboard. Seeing as I could do without spending £850 right now I'll keep the cash in the bank. I liked Snake Eyes comment that for me its about making women the primary focus of my life over the next six months. Not the only focus but one to really work on.

You'd probably get as much out of meeting up with some folks from on here as you would from a bootcamp and it would be a hell of a lot cheaper.

Look in the Wing section, think there is some Yorkshire based guys.

I'm originally a Wakey boy myself (now in London) - Mondays at Buzz used to my place! You may want to go further a field if you want girls between the ages of 18 and 40 though!
