if there text is interestin text back, if not... put my phone down, come back to it when im less busy!

I still think sometimes it might be a shit test though but I do over think a lot and it's the belief it's not a shit test that makes you successful.

Some people do indeed intentionally ignore texts. Worrying about whether you're being intentionally ignored or not is a great way to kill your mood and make yourself insecure though. Assume the positive side of things.

I hate texting. Really hate the fact that it gives people a chance to 'construct' a reply. A conversation should flow! It should come naturally!

And all this bollocks about waiting a few minutes before replying and what-not - these are just childish games! If I am not busy and can reply there and then, then I will reply there and then! Can you imagine playing these games while having a proper conversation with someone? You would both be standing there like twats not saying a word for ages, then finally reply with a response 160 characters or less!

I'm on a rant now: I think the reason people are becoming social retards is because of the likes of texting and so-called 'social' networking sites (I think they should be renamed anti-social networks). Many times, after a quick fire texting session with a girl, I'll figure it's easier to just call her and have a proper conversation. But everytime, it will just go to VM, and then I'll get a text ten minutes later sayin "oh sorry i missed your call - i left my phone upstairs, blah blah blah". BUT YOU MUST HAVE JUST HAD IT IN YOUR HAND!

People seem to like to hide behind technology nowadays.

I dread to think what dating etc. will be like for my future children.
